Maidenhead Town Partnership (MTP) strives to create and maintain a safe, quality and distinctive environment both day and night within the town centre.
We are looking to improve transport, parking, orientation and accessibility to the town. By adding vitality through dedicated marketing and events, we hope to increase awareness and interest in Maidenhead as a destination for shopping, leisure and business.
We are working together to develop a strong brand for Maidenhead that reflects quality, changes perceptions and ensures Maidenhead becomes a thriving town centre enjoyed by all.

Sub Groups
To implement our detailed actions plans, we have created four sub groups:
Each sub group sets out how the overall partnership vision can be achieved. We review actions plans regularly to take account of the progress and changes that will mark the way forward.
Strategy subgroup
This group monitors the work of the Town Manager and oversees the implementation of all actions plans as well as monitoring key performance indicators (kpi’s) to track the health of the town.
It is responsible for ensuring plans are fulfilled and delivered within budget. It also aims to develop the partnership, identifying key businesses that can help support the partnership and deliver the shared vision.
Events and Marketing
Vital to the promotion of Maidenhead as a shopping destination, this subgroup’s responsibility is to produce a programme of regular events to create a lively and fun atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Environment and Accessibility
Focusing on the street scene and access, this group ensures Maidenhead is a clean, quality public space. It will audit and identify all access areas to ensure ease of accessibility by car, rail, bus, foot and cycle.
Safety and Security
In conjunction with the police, local crime reduction agencies and the Town Manager, this group aims to reduce theft, vandalism and anti-social behaviour in the town centre.
Through the SMART and Pubwatch schemes and the use of Community Radio, the group will strive to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, businesses and visitors.
